When I began working at End Hunger Connecticut! in 2001, I couldn’t imagine where that journey would take me. It’s been a wonderful trip but now it’s time for a new adventure!
At the end of August I will be leaving EHC!. I leave knowing that anti-hunger work in Connecticut is in the capable hands of our staff and board who will continue to drive it through the partnerships and collaborations we have fostered. We should all be proud of the tremendous work we’ve done, building access to nutrition programs that are the stepping stones to success for so many in Connecticut.
The Board of Directors is working to ensure that the next executive director will continue that tradition. You can access the information for the search here on our website. We look forward to hearing from the many of you who are committed to ending hunger in our state and our country not only by building and protecting the routes of access to the programs and their benefits but by fighting the poverty that creates the need.
I am honored to have worked with each and every one of you. So many in Connecticut have a voice and a place at the table because of our work and that is invaluable. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
With the greatest of appreciation,
